Gusok
Life jackets, briefings, weather and emergency procedures every guest should know before stepping aboard.
A professional crew will always prioritise safety, but guests who understand the basics contribute to a smoother and more confident voyage.
At the start of every charter the captain or first officer conducts a briefing covering life jackets, fire extinguishers, emergency exits, man-overboard procedures and the location of the first-aid kit. Attend it fully — even if you have chartered before.
Life jackets are provided in adult and child sizes. Many families choose to have younger children wear them when moving around the decks or using water toys. Ask the crew for the sizes that fit your group.
Captains monitor forecasts continuously. If conditions deteriorate they may adjust the itinerary or remain in a protected anchorage. Trust their judgement — it is based on local knowledge and responsibility for everyone on board.
Never swim alone. Follow crew instructions regarding currents, boat traffic and when the engines may be started. Jet skis and tenders are operated only by qualified crew or under their direct supervision.
